About Homburg Real Estate Academy

Homburg education institutions create and deliver university-level undergraduate and post-graduate programs specialised in Real Estate.

The institutions include the degree-granting institution, the Homburg Academy Switzerland, situated on the banks of Lake Zurich, and the professional development and research institute, the Homburg Institute Canada, located in Prince Edward Island, Canada. This international structure enables Homburg to provide a unique international experience to students through specialised units on two continents.

These education institutions, and their programs, grow out of the recommendations of the international project known as the Homburg Global Education Project.

The Homburg Academy Switzerland offers Bachelor, Masters, Diploma, and Certificate programs, including the flagship Master of Real Estate, and the Executive Master of Real Estate. The programs are inter-disciplinary, and combine insights from the social, human, and technical sciences to provide a well-rounded approach to Real Estate development and management of the Real Estate firm.

The Homburg Academy Switzerland is governed by Council, composed of key figures from the Homburg Group of Companies, the academic faculty, and distinguished individuals from business and international public life. Dr Richard Homburg personally chairs Council.

The academic programs are supported by an International Academic Advisory Board composed of leading academics in real estate at universities in six countries.

Council and the Academic Board oversee the programs through an elaborate set of academic regulations and code of practice for quality assurance that draw from the most rigorous standards established by the United Kingdom’s Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education.
